NEW OBOE STAPLE DESIGN

The Winfield NW-01 is a new and exciting revolution in staples, because there is so little in contact with the Oboe apart from the two rubber bands, the staple is free to vibrate without the usual dampening effect of cork, therefore it makes for a truly free, vibrant sound. Even your heaviest reeds will have a wonderful 'bloom' to their sound.

The new Winfield staple is tooled from high quality brass made on high tech computer controlled machinery that ensures each one is identical to the last.

The rubber bands have a long life that can be replaced very easily, and can be obtained direct from Nick at very low cost. Due to their robust construction these staples will last you for years. I strongly recommend you try these - you wont be going back to cork !!

Winfield NW-01 Model:

Available for OBOE in Brass (standard), silver plate and gold. 'Professional' oboe reeds are also available with the new NW-01 staples.

Winfield F Model:

The Winfield cork Oboe staple is the first British manufactured, seamless, smooth bore, brass staple, incorporating the designers unique nonslip cane grip. The staples are designed to compliment all of today's modern instruments.

French Style : Standard 47mm, or available at 46mm & 45mm.

Winfield Cor Anglais & Oboe D'Amore Staples

The precisely drawn taper of Winfield Cor Anglais and Oboe D'Amore staples is designed to form an air tight fit when used in conjunction with all Winfield Cor and D'Amore crooks. Again made in brass, these staples will compliment all of today's modern instruments.
